FEMA DISASTER RECOVERY CENTER
In coordination with Jasper County Emergency Management, FEMA will open a Disaster Recovery Center (CDR) at the Newton West Academy, 1302 1st Ave W, Newton, IA 50208.
The center will allow you to report damages to your homes that occurred from May 20th - 31st, 2024 as well as submit your application for FEMA assistance. Recovery specialists from FEMA and the U.S. Small Business Administration will provide information on available services, explain assistance programs, and help survivors complete or check the status of their application. FEMA can provide money to eligible homeowners and renters for help with seriouse needs, paying for a temporary place to live, home repairs, and other needs not covered by insurance.

All DRCs are closed on Sundays.
There will be other dates as well if you can not make this work. We will post those when available.
